Academic Introduction

Heartland is a four year, private institution of higher education.  In our academic programs, we are committed to excellence in educating and training preachers, missionaries, and Christian workers. 

As a Bible college, our emphasis is to prepare men and women for service to the Lord in local, independent Baptist churches. 

The college offers four primary programs and their majors as listed below.

For those seeking God's will and direction, we also offer a one year Certificate in Practical Bible Training, referred to as the Bible Certificate major.

In addition to the undergraduate programs listed above, Heartland also has a 30 semester hour graduate program that leads to a post graduate diploma in ministry. 

For those who are not able to enroll in the on-campus programs and who meet the criteria may take class through our extension department which allows one to complete course work by distance education.
