Where are you located?
Heartland Baptist Bible College is located in Northwest Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, close to the I-40 and I-44 interstates.  The college was formerly called Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College and was located in San Dimas, California.

What version of the Bible do you use?
We believe the authorized (King James) Version, Old and New Testaments,  is the Word of God kept intact for English-speaking peoples by way of God's divine providence and work of preservation.  To read our entire position on the Doctrine of The Scriptures, please click here.

Am I eligible to attend?
Heartland is an independent Baptist college training men and women from independent Baptist churches; therefore, a primary criterion for admissions is membership in an independent Baptist church.  To read the complete policy on eligibility, please click here.

Are you accredited?
Heartland Baptist Bible College is not accredited under rules promulgated and adopted by the Oklahoma State Board of Regents for Higher Education nor by any national or regional accrediting agency which is recognized by the State of Oklahoma or the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education.  Heartland Baptist Bible College seeks no national or regional accreditation, but seeks only God’s approval.  The college chooses to be commended by the pastors and churches that support the college. 

How many students do you have?
For the Fall 2008 semester, the Lord blessed us with a record enrollment of 473 in the undergraduate program.  The total enrollment was 487 students with 14 in the graduate school.  For the Spring 2009 semester, we have 450 in the undergraduate program and 14 in the graduate program for a total of 464 enrolled. 

May I live off-campus?
All full-time single students under the age of 25 are required to live on campus or at home with their parents.

May I bring my car to school?
Any student is allowed to have an automobile on campus provided it is registered with the school and does not become detrimental to academic achievement or student behavior.

What are your majors?
Our majors are grouped according to the four programs offered at Heartland which include Biblical Studies, Christian Education, Church Music, and Ministry Secretarial.  The majors for each of these programs are provided under the academic tab.

Do you offer correspondence courses? 
Heartland does offer correspondence type classes; however, we refer to the concept of distance learning as our extension department.  To read more about our extension studies, click here or call toll free 877.943.9330 ext 145. 

What is your student/teacher ratio?
The overall student/teacher ratio currently is 16:1.

Do you accept any financial aid?
Heartland does not participate in any Title IV or Federal financial aid programs such as the Pell Grant or student loans.  However, we do accept grants and loans from other public and private organizations as well as institutional scholarships.  To read more about financial aid, click here.

Do you offer on campus job opportunities?
There are limited job opportunities on campus in the areas of the cafeteria, housekeeping, security, maintenance, and office positions.  For any questions about on-campus employment, please click to email our Business Manager.
